Lots of fabulous images. That one of the Waffle House... the cracks in the pavement leading exactly to the animated, boisterous crowd sharing a story... some of best leading lines ever. :)
Quite a bit of these type of pastel-y tones Jacques has, particularly in the blues from the skies (either dusky, long exposure, or daytime) comes in the edit. Try really opening up the shadows on your raw files while upping your blacks to compensate somewhat for the lost contrast if you want to excitement with that look.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the feature! That is a great leading line in that Waffle House one!
The blue tones from Jacques are next level. I’ve yet to find myself in the right lighting situation to even attempt to recreate this type of look

Thank you very much for the feature. I appreciate it❤️
My pleasure to have you Jacques!
Great pics.
Are neither of them on Substack?
Glad you enjoyed them! Neither of them had active Substack accounts that I could find.
Too bad. But I did track them down on Insta.
I’m hoping more artist will start to join Substack. There seems to be a a growing photography community here.
Agreed!
